Note Well Any submission to the IETF intended by the Contributor for publication as all or part of an IETF Internet-Draft or RFC and any statement made within the context of an IETF activity is considered an "IETF Contribution". Such statements include oral statements in IETF sessions, as well as written and electronic communications made at any time or place, which are addressed to: ● the IETF plenary session, ● any IETF working group or portion thereof, ● the IESG, or any member thereof on behalf of the IESG, ● the IAB or any member thereof on behalf of the IAB, ● any IETF mailing list, including the IETF list itself, any working group or design team list, or any other list functioning under IETF auspices, ● the RFC Editor or the Internet-Drafts function All IETF Contributions are subject to the rules of RFC 3978 (updated by RFC 4878) and RFC Statements made outside of an IETF session, mailing list or other function, that are clearly not intended to be input to an IETF activity, group or function, are not IETF Contributions in the context of this notice. Please consult RFC 3978 (updated by RFC 4878) for details.

Other Notes ● Need at least two Note Takers ● Jabber Transcription Experiment: ● Verbatim transcription will be sent to Jabber session. ● Need a mediator for Jabber session for questions. ● MP3 streaming ● Use the microphone, and state your name ● Wireless: Make sure your computer is not in adhoc mode

Supplementary Web Page ● ● Using “WG Reviews” page to track WG documents, including WG reviews, assignments and status, with proposed WGLC dates for all WG documents. ● Updated (usually) monthly ● Important for doc editors to review deadlines and make sure current status of docs is accurate. ● “Official” WG reviews are cached in the spreadsheet. ● Information is used by other SDOs to track dependencies.

How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Over the past year, we’ve been less than 50% accurate at meeting milestones. ● Some delays are due to dependencies on other docs. ● Other delays due to lack of cycles on behalf of doc editors. ● Other delays could be attributed to newness of WG milestone tracking in spreadsheet.

How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Proposal on list to move delayed docs to end of queue to avoid ripple of milestone changes: ● Mailing list feedback thus far has been supportive. ● This model is reflected in some of the updated milestones proposed.

How to meet WG milestones more efficiently/effectively ● Other options: ● More regular pings from chairs on upcoming milestones (not preferred by chairs given accessibility of information in spreadsheet). ● More regular updates (bi-weekly) of spreadsheets to prompt doc editors (including doc editors Name in the summary and cc’ing doc editors) ● Longer term, tools that would automatically generate s to doc editors with updated dates (ala tools for docs post-WG).
