Project Initiation Meeting (PIM) is mandatorily conducted before execution of any project involving PRI Members/Job card holders/ SHGs/ NGOs & Block level officers etc. PIM Meeting at Dangarbheja GP of Nandahandi block for the work of Imp. of tank at Mundiguda village PIM Meeting at Chikalpadar GP of Umerkote block for the work of Imp. of Chanchanbeda village road.

Total Family involvement in MGNREGS Work. While both husband and wife are working there child is playing with supplied toys at the work site. About children were provided with toys and watched by care taker at work site in the project of Imp. of road from Saruguda to Kukudabai of Dangarbheja GP of Nandahandi Block. Irrigation Canals Irrigation Canal with Check Dam at Atigaon of Kosagumuda block for ST Lands E.C : Lakhs Additional ayacut have been generated for 20 Acres. 17 beneficiaries benefited. Check Dam at Mangiaguda of Kosagumuda block for ST Lands E.C : Lakhs Additional ayacut have been generated for 27 Acres. 20 beneficiaries benefited.

Farm pond of Bhagaban Mali of Sanmaliguda of Nandahandi block. E.C : Lakh Vegetable Cultivation done by the beneficiary last year and awarded as Best Farmer. He is earning about 1.00 Lakh per Annum. He is benefited by Pisciculture & Veg. cultivations like Cabbage, Tomato, Chilli etc.

Farm pond of Pitambar Mali of Ponduguda of Kosagumuda block. E.C : Lakh Vegetable Cultivation & Pisciculture done by the beneficiary

Farm pond of Samudu Bhatra of Mantriguda of Nabarangpur block. E.C : Lakh He is earning about Rs.1 lakh per annum From Pisciculture and Maize Cultivation. Maize, Sugarcane Cultivation & Pisciculture done by the beneficiary

INITIATIVE STEPS TAKEN 1. Generation of Mandays for each GP is fixed for every block as per the Labour Budget. 2.Fortnight review of progress by PD, DRDA & Collector. 3. Daily mandays report (DMR) must reach at AM. 4. Project Initiation meeting before the commencement for every project is a must. 5. Engagement of women labourer Is mandatory. 6. Involvement of PRI members in MGNREGS work is must. 7. Massive number of farm ponds are being taken up. 8. Minimum 2 projects are taken up in every village. 9. Line Departments like Soil Conservation, Horticulture, Forest, DFO, MI, Agriculture etc are very much involved for MGNREGS works. 10. District level squad is constituted by DRDA to inspect MGNREGS work in each month. 11. Individual families are motivated to complete 100 days of work.

12. FRC beneficiaries are involved for their land development & Farm Pond. 13. Women SHG groups under SGSY, Mission Shakti, OTELP, Watershed of soil conservation, Fishery, GM DIC etc are involved for motivation of the women labourers for coverage of women labourers. 14. Organizing Job card Mela in GP level as well as in watershed area. 15. A detailed work out on Mandays and Expenditure has been made giving target to all the Line Departments/ GP/ Blocks.
