Exemplar Paragraphs: Foundation Tier: Source 2 uses a main image of Fernando Torres that supports the content of the article: a famous footballer being relaxed. His casual clothing and posture suggests he is calm and comfortable, as is expected from someone in their spare time. In contrast, Source 3 uses an image that suggests hardship rather than comfort. The way the children are outlined, without faces, gives the impression that there are thousands of children that are in this position of poverty. Furthermore, the way they are ‘faceless’ could suggest that people in Britain don’t care about them.92 words
