ORGANIZATION OF THE WORKPLACEMENT STUDENTS

ORGANIZATION OF THE WORKPLACEMENT  First contacts  Initial interview  Training programme

ORGANIZATION OF THE WORKPLACEMENT In the development of the workplacement, apart from the student, there are two key figures to ensure the quality of the training:  Mentor or person responsible at the company.  Mentor/teacher from the school Each year, the mentor/teacher will have as objectives :  Rotation of the companies  Incorporation of new companies.

FIRST CONTACTS  Contact companies in order to check if they are interested in receiving trainees.  Companies that have never collaborated with the school but have been in touch with us to show their interest in hosting students.  Companies proposed by students.  New local companies in order to develop new internship placements.

INITIAL INTERVIEW  The teacher informs the company about all the aspects related to the course and the workplacement, like the conditions and characteristics, the insurance that covers the student…  Asks for all the necessary details in order to fulfill the documents.  Meets the mentor at the company and sees the place  Agrees on the dates and the timetable.  Selects which tasks of the TRAINING PROGRAMME is going to do the student

TRAINING PROGRAMME The training programme is the document where the tasks that the student is supposed to fulfill at the company are written. Each course has its own general training programme according to the curriculum. There must be an agreement between school and company on the tasks the student will do according to the type of company and the post.

TRAINING PROGRAMME AGREED GENERAL TRAINING PROGRAMME CHARACTERISTCS OF THE COMPANY AND POST AGREED TRAINING PROGRAMME

STUDENT  Information about the company  Documents  Presentation of the student  Organization of the work

STUDENT The student has to fulfill the PERSONAL FILE where we can find: Personal and academic details. Professional experience. Disponibility of timetable and dates Preferences for the workplacement. Car disponibility.

CHOICE OF COMPANY Once the TRAINING PROGRAMME has been agreed, each student will be given a company taking into account the following aspects:  The opinion of the tutor at the sending institution,  The students’ preferences and  The distance between the students' address and the company's. The teacher fills and issues documentation by means of official software (Consejería de Educación/Regional Education Authority).

DOCUMENTS The teacher fills and issues documentation by means of official software (Consejería de Educación/Regional Education Authority). Cooperation agreement and annexes:  Annex I  Annex II, Training programme
