E-learning at CELFI CELFI - e-Learning Centre supports and coordinates the progressive methodological-technical strengthening of teaching/learning processes based on ICT and multimedia. The centre serves as a strategic resource for the integration of e-Learning technologies both in teacher didactics and in student activities. 2. Didactical services Strategic, pedagogic and organisational modelling of the university online learning; teacher and tutor training; support to students, teachers, tutors. Training sessions are provided before the beginning of the course and in progress during the activities. Tutors can refer to CELFI staff for administrative, didactical and technical problems. 3. Pedagogical model Sharing, negotiating, development of a network; building communities of learners and community of practice: tools for negotiation, team design, building ‘places’ not ‘spaces’. 3. Pedagogical model In order to develop a community each module includes: a preliminary introductory activity and continuous support allowing student to position and personalize his/her learning paths; collaborative activities enlightening student’s personal experiences and allowing negotiate shared cognitive domains; personal reflection and awareness activities facilitating the creation of dynamic professional identities (often, a course goal is building a community of practices of teachers/employers....)

4. Technologies LMS: OLAT Version 6.3 from the University of Zurich, open and easy with existing facilities/utilities; clear mapping of learning path structure based on XML; developed for scalability, portability, interoperability; open source/architecture for future or specific case oriented extensions. LMS extras as centralized user provisioning, videoconference service, tracking and monitoring service. Each course provides: personal page for all users; modular structure, easily editable by teachers and tutors; tools for negotiation; tools for learning path reflection.
