 I WOULD HELP THE TEACHER;  I WOULD TRANSLATE SLANG FOR THE TEACHER ;  I WOLUD NOT BE SELFISH;  I COULD HELP GRADE PAPERS;  I WOULD BE TRUTHFUL;  I WOULD BE RELIABLE; and  I WOULD BE SERIOUS BUT STILL HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR.

 CLEAN UP CLASS MESSES;  ANSWER QUESTIONS STUDENTS MAY HAVE (QUIETLY);  GIVE STUDENTS EXTRA HELP;  KEEP THE TEACHER ORGANIZED;  HELP KEEP SOME STUDENTS ORGANIZED; and  MAKE SURE THE CLASS IS IN CHECK

 I WOULD INSPIRE STUDENTS TO DO THEIR BEST.  BY BEING SUCH A GOOD PERSON AND FOLLOWING THE RULES, MY PEERS WOULD FOLLOW ME.  I WOULD DISPLAY A POSITIVE ATTITUDE TOWARDS EVERYONE.

 I HEAR WHAT MY FELLOW PEERS SAY SO I KNOW WHAT IS ON THEIR MINDS.  OFTEN PEOPLE REPRESENT A CERTAIN CATEGORY OF PEOPLE ONLY KNOWING AND UNDERSTANDING 10% OF THEM.  I HAVE TALKED TO EVERYONE IN THE CLASS AT LEAST ONCE, AND I CAN ALREADY TELL HOWTHEY THINK AND HOW THEY VOICE THEIR OPINION ABOUT THINGS.

 BY VOTING FOR ME YOU WILL BE SATISFIED. NOT ONLY WILL I BE THE FIRST FEMALE TEACHER’S PET, BUT I WILL BE THE FIRST AFRICAN- AMERICAN FEMALE. IF YOU VOTE FOR ME YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAY IN THE FUTURE, “I WAS THERE WHEN THE TEACHER’S PET: MYA SMILEY WAS FIRST ELECTED!”

Remember, a vote for Mya Smiley is a vote for:  Excellence  Responsibility  Reliability  A Role Model  A Wonderful Class Representative
