The Brain The brain is the most important part of the nervous system. It has areas for memory, hearing, taste, balance, speech, sensory, motoring, and eye movement.

Function of the Nervous System Directs other organs to do there job right. Enables you to feel, move, see, smell, taste, hear, talk, learn, remembering, and other movements. Sends messages to other organs and systems.

Ways you can damage your Nervous System You can damage your Nervous System by: Welding Fumes Lead A head injury A stroke Diabetes long term use of alcohol or illegal drugs.
