Surveys are a great way to find out what people like and don’t like about your company, and the results can help companies improve. 2. Age range- The variety of ages in a group of people 3. Location- WHERE the business physically is in the city. 4. Hours of operation-The time of the day when the store is open (ex: 9am-5pm).

+ Step 1- Develop survey questions With your partner, write down these SEVEN multiple choice questions. Here are a list of questions you can use in your survey: 1. Which age range does my company appeal the most to? 2. How much should our product cost? 3. Where should our company location be? 4. What should our store hours of operation be? 5. What should we name our product? 6. How should we advertise our product? 7. What colour should our business cards be?

+ Think of THREE more questions you can ask. 8._________________________________________ 9. ________________________________________ 10. _______________________________________ Also, list two options (a) and (b) for all TEN questions. + Step 2: Survey your friends Next, take your survey outside of the class and ask your friends your survey questions. You must ask 20 people. Record everyone’s results on the survey test.

+ Step 3: Create 3 bar graphs to show the results Once you have surveyed twenty people, create a bar graph that displays the results for only 3 of your questions.

+ Step 4: Summarize your results For each question, write a short summary about which option people liked best (a or b). You must have TEN summaries total. Your summaries must be written like this: Question number one asked which age range our product appealed to the most, listing a) year olds, and b) year olds as options. More people chose a) year olds. Question number two asked where our store location should be, listing a) Sanlitun, Beijing, China, and b) Xidan Shopping Centre, Beijing, China as options.
