Summary XBRL Challenge Objective: Tools that rely on XBRL data, e.g., tool that extracts data for multi-company comparison via desktop application; or one that creates real-time valuation measures and delivers to mobile devices Oxide Solutions Statement of purpose: Build a web based system that will dynamically read and processes XBRL reported data and provide analysis and reports as well as integration with real time stock information for analysts. The system will dynamically read the SEC RSS updates and load and normalize the instance data. The system will provide in depth reporting and analysis by allowing users to use pre-defined ratios or custom ratios applied against single companies, multiple companies or across industries. The system will provide tools to review taxonomies. The system will be able to access real time stock quotes and integrate real-time and historical stock data with XBRL data.
