What is a graph? A graph is a “picture” of your data.
There are three types of graphs. Line graph Bar graph Pie chart

The Bar Graph Used to compare different groups.

The Pie Chart Compare parts of a whole.
What information is needed to make a bar or line graph? A title A legend An X-axis
What information is needed to make a bar or line graph? A Y-axis The data
What information is needed to make a pie chart? A title A legend The data
The Title Gives a short explanation of what is in your graph.
The Legend It tells what each shaded area on the graph represents.
Y-Axis Runs vertically (up-and-down).
X-Axis Runs horizontal (flat).
