NGfL CYMRU GCaD

NGfL CYMRU GCaD “Insect invasion!” shouted Mr. Lewis. The biggest of the bees was hopping from flower to flower, as the dry weather lasted into June.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD Mr Lewis had been playing I Spy with his class, when he first spotted the hungry swarm of bees heading towards them.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD He pushed the children in to the empty wigwam. He ran his finger along the top of the large handbag which was in the corner.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD He rubbed his hand over the dressed leather, feeling like a hunted animal. “How will we escape from here?” he thought.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD A flicker of a smile crossed his face. Hidden amongst the ruffled silk scarf, he could feel a metal bangle, and a glass bottle. “Splendid!” he thought to himself.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD Quickly, he opened the handbag, sprayed some of the perfume in the glass bottle on to the bangle, and threw the bangle out of the shed, as hard as he could.

NGfL CYMRU GCaD The fatter of the bees flew after the bangle. The door banged shut behind them, as they fled, running across the yard to the safety of the school.
