When I Grow Up BY: ANDREW

What is Electrical Engineering?  Electrical Engineering is a group of highly educated engineers who work on circuits, light, energy, conductivity, and they are all well assured that this job is highly necessary for the living and caring of people.  When you are working as an engineer you have to be able to work with electricity, and you need to be fearless of protons and neutrons.  Also the one thing that you need to know is how to calculate the amount of energy a toy needs. Ex:1. A toy car should use a few AA batteries instead of D batteries. 2.You wouldn’t want to use two AAA batteries for a real car, you would want to use a bigger/stronger battery. 3. You cant have electricity without electrical engineers!

Salary/money day(:  Money is one thing that will get you places to places, and it will also help you pay for food and other  stuff that you need to live.  So you need to know how much you get paid and it all depends on what your job is.  If I’m an engineer than I will expect to get paid decently depending on the rank of my profile.  I get paid an average wage 70,000 dollars a year and 30 per hour.  So my salary can also change depending on my work days for instance if I’m sick for two weeks than that is two weeks worth off my pay check/ salary.  If I plan on working less than forty hours a week, then my salary will decrease because of my working hours.  If you have a greater salary your more likely to have a greater and harder working hours.

What do I need to get ready for Electrical Engineering?  There are a lot of things that you need to know about Electrical Engineering, but lets go for the most common ones.  Math is needed to measure or calculate the distance of a substance depending on the project/ assignment.  Science is a key thing to know in Electrical Engineering, because it helps you name or classify the substance or materials that you are using during the experiment.  Then there is reading which is also important because you need to know how to follow directions, and you need to know what to read.  There is a lot more stuff you need to know about Electrical Engineering, but the best things you should know in Electrical Engineering is those very 3 topics.

Job stats and Future out come  Electrical Engineering will only increase in demand by 5% in the years 2012 to  The slow growth increase In the job of Electrical Engineering is due to companies hiring engineers from other countries for lower wages.

Is Math Important in my Career?  Yes, math is important in my career and it is important in many careers.  My career needs math for many things like circuits and distance, and lots of other stuff that includes my assignment.  Math is for other jobs too, for instance you need math to count money in a register and you need math to find the distance or coordination on a trip.  Math is a key thing in life and it should also help you through tuff decisions.  So think of math as a wake up call and just do it so its easier in life.
