2 The Rules Public Utility Commission of Texas Substantive Rules: –PUC Rule General Description –PUC Rule Technical Requirements Size Range: up to 10 MW Voltage Range: 120 Volts to 34,500 Volts Generator Types: Solar Panels, Wind Turbines, Fuel Cells, Micro-Turbines, Reciprocating Engines, Turbines Generator Fuels: Gas, Solar, Wind, Diesel, Bio-Diesel Intended Use: Net Metered or Export

3 The Process DG equipment is reviewed for technical compliance. Studies are performed to determine CNP system impacts. CNP system modifications are developed (w/estimates). DG provides payment for CNP system modifications. CNP completes modifications while DG installs equipment. DG site inspections/approvals are performed. DG signs interconnection agreement and is allowed to operate. DG performance and addresses issues as necessary.
