I am Shubham Roy. I am a boy. I am twelve years old. I am in class seven. I read in Rani Bilash Moni Govt. Boys High School. I live with my family. I was born in Gazipur at 30 November in I have some friends and I love their company.

I am Bangladeshi. This is our national flag. In 1971 we become free as a free nation. Ours national flag bears our national identity. In 26 March is our independence day. In 16 December is our victory day and in 21 February we celebrate international mother language day. These are our national days. I talk in Bengali. This is our mother tongue. We celebrate our national days warmly.

Different religious people live side by side here peacefully. I am Hindu and my parents also. I have also some friends who are the followers of Muslim and other religion. We celebrate different festivals. Every religious people celebrate their own festival in their own way. As- Durga Puja for Hindu, Eid-Ul- Azha and Eid-ul-fitre for Muslim, Christmas for Christians etc.

There is no gender discrimination in my country. Male & female are working the same job here.

Social Background In our society different people live. Some are rich, some are poor, some are middle class people. Most of the people could not meet their basic needs as food,health,education, clothings.
