Senate Bill 204 Requires EMR vendors to include capability to interface with ImmTrac or generate electronic reports for data submission Requires DSHS to define data exchange fields and standards compatible with national standards

Senate Bill Implementation National standards have not yet been defined Projected adoption in 2009 Rules and implementation will proceed after national standards are adopted Working with EMR vendors to facilitate reporting using current standards, new Electronic Data Translation technology and HL7 protocol

Senate Bill 11 Allows for affirmation of consent by a health care provider, birth registrar, regional health information exchange, or local immunization registry Allows for inclusion of First Responders or immediate family members Requires DSHS to educate First Responders about benefits of ImmTrac
