Data Collection Are we missing anyone? –Contractors must file all claims even if they have reached their funding ceiling –Contracts must file all appeals even if they have reached their funding ceiling –Contractors must file all Title X encounters even though this will not result in payment –Contractors must ensure they use only TPIs to file family planning claims/encounters that they have shared with DSHS via clinic forms

Data Collection Other Areas of Concern –How is contractor reported data collected? Are systems automated? Contractors must ensure that data collection systems can report all FPAR data elements –How is Race and Ethnicity data collected. Must be self reported by the client.

Final Report Review final report to ensure all data checks are in agreement Look for unusual results. ( i.e. A 19 year old user whose primary method is listed as sterilization ). If these are correct explain in narrative.

Whats New for 2007 Reporting Period: December 1 through November 30 Provider revenue information will be collected using a new form ( contractors will no longer be required to complete form 14 ) A narrative will be required that explains any variance from Compass 21 data or any major changes compared to the previous year
