Project Files l Download files from l Search using l Download the data disk files, save to disk l WinZip Self Extractor –select folder and unzip

Dreamweaver l Create pages and sites l Text, images, tables, and multimedia –Objects Panel l Site Management – Site Map, Design notes, check in/check out l Property Inspector manages hyperlinks l Roundtrip HTML – DW can open a file created in another edit and not add adding coding l Clean Up HTML or Clean Up Word HTML – gets rids of undesirable or unnecessary code.

Work Area l Objects Panel – inserts images, tables, horizontal rules, multimedia objects l Property Inspector – change formats, links l Launcher – on the status bar, icons that open panels or views

Dreamweaver l Open an existing page –File|Open –Unit A folder –Dma_1.htm –Open l Insert an image –Insert|Image –Assets folder –Tripsmart.gif –Select

Dreamweaver l Save a Web Page -.htm –File|Save As –Type Index –Save l Home page should be named index to automatically open l Spaces in file names can cause errors, no punctuation, use lowercase for all servers

Dreamweaver l Place the insertion point (cursor) at the end of the last sentence and press [Enter] l Type your name l Click the window Size pop-up menu on the status bar – change it to 640 X 480 l File|Save l Click the Preview/Debug in Browser button
