Higher Education in the United Kingdom (UK)

Once students have found a university and a course that they are interested in, it is important that they look at the university itself. The website or prospectus will be able to tell the students about open days, a specific course content as well as about the assessment of the course.

Bournemouth University – Sports Psychology Imperial College London - Biology

6. UCAS processes form and forwards to chosen universities 7. Universities submit decisions (offer or unsuccessful) 8. Applicant views decisions on Track 9. Applicant replies to offers on Track (Firm / Insurance) 10. Universities confirm places when results are released

The purpose of the personal statement is to tell the universities and colleges why you are applying for the course(s) you have chosen and why they should want you as a student. This statement helps universities and colleges to know more about you as a person. We will work closely with students on the personal statement.

Plagiarism is taken seriously by all universities and if you are suspected of copying your personal statement then you run the risk of not being accepted by any of the universities. Personal Statement

Students ask one of their teachers to write their UCAS Reference. The reference will comment on the following Suitability for the course chosen. Proposed career plan - if they have one and suitability for this career. Academic Performance. Involvement in school community as it relates to proposed course of study. IB Predicted grades will also be entered at this stage for the examinations that will be taken in May 2012
