Immigration By: Omar Gutierrez Rufino Toledo

Problem The Problem is some immigrants don’t have much of a chance of becoming a citizen This should be changed because all people deserve a chance of becoming a citizen Even though some take advantage of this most people hope to make better lives by moving here We hope immigrants have a better chance of making a living here in the U.S

Proposal We propose that the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 be looked at and with certain modifications Giving the people that already live here and want to live here have a chance for citizenship We believe of tightening the borders so immigrants don’t have to come here illegally But we also believe the families already living here should have a chance of becoming a citizen

The Letter

Who we are sending it to and why President Obama This is a federal issue and needs the presidents view on this because of how this affects everyone in the U.S Representative John Carney Senator Chris Coons This can also be a state issue and at least one senator and representative should know about it because of how this can affect most of the country
