introduction Motivation is a feeling of energetic for doing something There are two types of motivation, instinctive and extinctive motivation. Instinctive motivation=internal motivation Extinctive motivation=external motivation

Literature review I. Motivation pushes student forward to their goals Motivation energizes, direct behaviors Motivation sustains behavior (Fredricks, Blumenfeld, & Paris, 2004; Maehr & Meyer, 2004; Reeve, 2006). II. Motivation builds Optimism Classroom environment is very important (extinctive motivation) motivation minimizes the negative behaviors and keep students aways from dropping out of school according to Hidden curriculum (2014, August 26).

Literature review III. Motivation enhances performance: students who are most motivated to learn and excel in the classroom activities tend to be the highest achievers ( A.E. Gottfried, 1990; Schiefele, Krapp, & Winteler,1992; Walberg & Uguroglu, 1980).
