TransNEW Project - Brussels, February 2009 TransNEW started on 01 January 2010 and runs for 2 years to December 2011 The project has 48 deliverables consisting of: Reports on each of the 26 countries 4 regional reports 4 mode evaluation reports 6 newsletters Other reports on Management issues and workshops, etc

TransNEW Project - Brussels, February 2009 TransNEW covers all transport modes, including Aeronautics. TransNEW is assessing who is making a contribution to common transport research objectives such as: -advancing competitiveness -anticipating and responding to the socio- economic and environmental challenges of the transport system -promoting transport research SMEs

TransNEW Project - Brussels, February 2009 TransNEW is clustering the research capacity results by five Activities. These are: 1.Greening – environmental impacts of transport and climate change 2.Enhanced integration of transport modes 3.Safety and Security 4.Transport system efficiency and Mobility 5.Competitiveness
