What to do if… You are absent… Check the assignment book and the makeup folder for any handouts. Get notes from a friend or from the class web page. If your printer runs out of ink or otherwise fails to function… your work to

Late work! Absolutely no work will be accepted late. If you are absent due to illness you have 2 days for each missed day to make up your work. If you are gone for a school event or personal/family event you must get your work ahead of time. The assignment will be due on the regular due date.

Can I redo an assignment? Yes! If you are not happy with a grade you received on an essay or other writing assignment you may rewrite it and resubmit it for a better grade. You must talk to me first and your revisions must show substantial changes to the piece of writing.

What supplies do I need? 3 ring binder (1 inch to 1&1/2 inches) 4 tabbed dividers Pens and pencils Paper for the binder 2 different colored highlighters Small stickie notes
