HEALTH (Vocab) The combination of physical, mental/emotional, and social well being.

PHYSICAL HEALTH Your ability to perform everyday functions, deal with stresses, and avoid injury.

HEALTH TRIANGLE

MENTAL/EMOTIONAL HEALTH The way you feel about yourself, how you meet the demands of daily life, and how you cope with problems.

SPIRITUAL HEALTH (Vocab) A deep-seated sense of meaning and purpose in life.

SOCIAL HEALTH Getting along with others. Your social network includes family, friends, teachers, and members of your community.

WELLNESS (Vocab) An overall state of well-being or total health.

HEALTH CONTINUUM

CHRONIC DISEASE (Vocab) An ongoing condition or illness. Examples: Heart Disease, Cancer, and Obesity.
