Coaches Expectations Coach a small group of students to help develop their skills in simple mechanics, teamwork, and problem-solving. Experience and mechanical aptitude are NOT required – Just a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and work with great students!! The coaches main responsibility is to motivate students to work together and solve problems.

Coaching Tips It’s all about the kids. Keep it simple. Start responses with “How…” or “Why…” or “What would happen if…” Students learn more from failure than success. Consider team building opportunities such as deciding on a team name, decision making, board set-up, etc…

Robotics Logistics 3 rd -5 th teams will be starting in the fall. 2 nd grade teams to start in the spring. Teams will meet once a week from 3:00- 4:30PM at Marek. Materials will be provided. Marek Neighborhood Tournament is scheduled for some time in Feb Marek Fall 2012 Robotics Schedule
