Back to Home Page Christians have the belief in one God and That Jesus Christ came to same them from their sins. They believe that he created everything in the universe. You can find all their beliefs in the bible from the Old and New Testament. The Old Testament is a version of the Jewish Tanakh. There are the Catholics and the Protestants. Catholics were one of the first groups of Christians however in the middle ages Martian Luther created the Protestant reform were he broke away from the church and follow what you though the Christian creed should be.

Back to Home Page This religion of Islam people are called Muslims. Muslims believe that there is only one God, translated in Arabic as Allah. It had some of the same teachings of the Jewish Tanakh and the bible however Muslims believe in the Profit Muhammad who wrote there Quran. Muslims believe in completely summiting themselves to God, and doing what Allah wants them to do. They also Pray five times a day.

Back to Home Page Judaism is one of the oldest single God religions. They practice set of beliefs and practices originating in the Hebrew Bible, The Tanakh. They feel that they are God’s Children and that he looks out for them. Christianity and Islam both formed off of Judaism.

Hinduism is formed of many traditions and has no single creator. Their founding beliefs are written down in two different scriptures. Surti (reviled) and Smriti (remembered)

Back to Home Page According to Buddhist, Buddhism is a path of salvation attained through insight into the ultimate nature of reality. The teachings of Buddhism comes from a man know as Buddha. (The awakened one) There are two branches of Buddhism. Theravada ("The School of the Elders“) is based on reason and thought, not blind faith and Mahayana ("The Great Vehicle") follows the teachings of Dharma. The four noble truths of Buddhism are: There is suffering. There is cause for suffering. There is cessation of suffering. There is path leading to the cessation of suffering.

Back to Home Page Taoism refers to a power which envelops, surrounds and flows through all things, living and non-living. The Tao regulates natural processes and nourishes balance in the Universe. It embodies the harmony of opposites. Taoism Created the Ying and Yang symbol that you often see today.
