Parent Connection

 Parent Connection is an application which provides parent access to their child’s grades, assignments, and attendance.  Parents are also able to set grade and/or attendance triggers to send notifications via .

 From the Klein ISD homepage, click on Parent Connection under the Parents heading.  Go to the Krimmel website and click Parent Connection.  Go to

 Click on Parent in the list of options.  Select the link Click here to sign up.

 Fill in the fields.  Click the Add button to add at least one address. Sample: Username – marysmith Password – Marysmith1 Password Requirements: Minimum of 6 characters with at least one capital letter and one number.

 After reading the User Agreement, select the Terms of Usage check box.  Click Sign Up.

 Your account has been created!  Click Add a student to my account.

 Fill in the fields.  You will need the following:  Student ID (no letter s)  Date of Birth  SSN or S number Enter your child’s Social Security Number without hyphens or enter his/her state issued S number (example: S ). The S number was issued to your child at enrollment in KISD, if the SSN wasn’t available.  If you entered a SSN correctly and the application was denied, your child probably has an S number. Contact Krimmel’s Registrar (Robin Wilmes) to obtain the S number.  Click Submit.

 Click on Assignments on the left side menu to view Upcoming or Recent Assignments.

 Click on Grades on the left side menu to view current averages.

 Click on a specific grade to view assignments and grades within that course.

 Click on Attendance to view absences and/or tardies.  Click on Triggers to receive notifications when a grade changes or there is new attendance data.  Click on Manage Students to add another student.  Click on My Settings to change password, phone number, address, or .

 If the student account is denied, confirm with the campus registrar, Robin Wilmes, if your child's SSN or State issued S number is on record.  If you Parent Connection concerning a problem entering your child's information, please provide his/her name and campus. 

Learning Management System

LMS is a digital learning environment available to students at all 1:1 Klein ISD campuses. Teachers will use LMS to  post class announcements  share course content  collect assignments  assess learning through tests

 From the Klein ISD homepage, click on StudentNet under the Students heading.  Click on Klein ISD Blackboard on the left side menu.  Go to the Krimmel website and click LMS.  Go to

 Enter your student’s username - S tudent ID number without the letter s.  Enter your student’s password – Have your student share their LMS password with you.  Click Login.

 Welcome to your LMS homepage!  Notice the My Classes and My Organizations modules listed below.

 Go to the Krimmel website and click on the Important Info heading and then select Technology Tidbits to learn more information.
