Proposed Actions A variety of actions are planned for benefit of members including: - Awareness raising events, - ideas workshops, - investment advice, - mentoring events, - business advice seminars Will be responsive to members needs.

MOVING AWAY FROM “THE JOB”  Various EU Initiatives concentrate on keeping older people in employment for longer  Some progress in providing “jobs” for over 50’ But is this what this cohort really want?

HOW TO CAPTURE THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE “BABY BOOMERS”  We are moving into an “Individual Choice Economy” both as consumers and as participating workers  New options to allow flexibility in how you work, e.g. I.T. offers huge choice in location, time, connectivity, skills sharing

SUCCESS TO DATE  Raising awareness of Enterprise for 50+  Research in partner countries demonstrate a clear need and a definite interest  Wicklow CEB 50+ SYOB Group continue to meet  Interest shown from voluntary and professional MENTORS in getting involved with this age cohort.

SENIOR ENTERPRISE ASSOCIATION  Different strands of Senior Enterprise need an overall support programme.  Association will provide a linking mechanism to connect individuals and actions.  Will include all Work Programmes, (Starting, Partnering, Investing, Mentoring.)

TRANSNATIONAL COOPERATION  Association will facilitate people who wish to look beyond their borders in search of entrepreneurial and strategic partners  Will be a platform for the spread and continuation of the Senior Enterprise initiative throughout NW Europe and beyond.

 Branches planned at local, regional and transnational level  Each of the partners will establish one in their area  Scope for extending branch network to local levels as required  Opportunity for observer countries to set up branches ORGANISATION
