Presentation transcript:

EGO INTEGRITY v Despair I really enjoyed spending time with my grandchildren and especially being able help my own kids by giving them some time off from the kids My husband and I celebrated our retirements by traveling abroad – we went to China, Australia, and Thailand! After 30 years as an interior decorate, I finally decided to close my business. I still occasionally help out friends because I enjoy it, but my time is now my own! My Life in Late Adulthood I definitely felt as though I continued to contribute to society and felt connected my loved ones. I also looked back on my work and family life and felt good about it

Timeline of My FUTURE Life Put together a scrapbook on how you imagine your life will be. You will create 4 pages that span from your teens until age 89! Yes, in this version of your life, you will live to a ripe old age. You will create a scrapbook page for each of the following stages:

Timeline of My FUTURE Life On each page you must include: At least 2-3 significant events that you imagine will happen to you that will have an impact on your development as a person, with a couple sentences about why they are significant. They should be in paragraph form. At the bottom of the page, you must put the stage of development according to Erikson AND which you are at AND why (for example, on the page from age 20 to 30, you would write “Intimacy vs. Isolation” at the bottom. Underneath you might write - By 29 I had already maintained a close relationship with my spouse but the birth of our child brought us even closer together. Then you would circle or bold Intimacy to make it clear that is where you were by the completion of that stage). Illustrations. These can be photographs, or pictures copied and pasted from online, clip art or cartoons…be creative but don’t spend all your time on this part. Technical Stuff: Please create your slides using powerpoint. Each page of the scrapbook (4) will cover one of the stages mentioned above. -They should go in order (Adolescence, Young Adulthood, Middle Adulthood, Late Adulthood) -Save the ppt with your first and last name: JohnSmithScrapbook -When you are finished, delete the sample slide and resave.
