Communication is vital to this event and communication was done through several factors. ◦ Student Schedules had the times and meeting places of all the classes. ◦ Student schedules were printed the night before and distributed to program faculty so every student had a schedule (required to pick up the laptop). ◦ Reminder post-cards went out to the students a month before the event to have them mark the date. ◦ Signage was put up across campus highlighting key areas for students. ◦ Signage was put up across campus recognizing vendors who donated. ◦ Signage was put up in buildings directing student groups. ◦ Student Success/Student Government met students in our building with laptops to provide schedules to walk-ins, give directions, help solve student issues.
Student ID’s ◦ Mobile Camera in Tech Center Student Schedule ◦ Provided to faculty the night before General Sessions for late students
A survey was done of students and staff the first year and then only staff the second year. Results of the survey are compiled into a Powerpoint presentation in this class.
