Who’s Currently Not in the Game New Game Just Starting; everyone who attends and then has their President Elect go to MDP qualifies.

2 Club Members must be MOU certified Club encouraged contribute to Polio Plus and to Annual Giving Host/International club must be eligible No outstanding Final Reports Must have 3 club members on Global Grant Project Committee for both host/international clubs Rotary District 7620 Grants Committee

Club Quadrants receive grant ideas and projects. Group decides which projects warrant going forward. Grants Committee receives application and checks its eligibility (DGSC) Quadrant receives project approval and begins application to TRF. DGC will approve District Designated Funds (DDF) as applicable to each application. Rotary District 7620 Grants Committee

How Do I Get In The Game 1. Complete this course. 2. Participate in Foundation Giving 3. Join the quadrant 4. Apply for Global & or District Grants

Potential Programs Generating Interest Invite a guest from a Club that has a successful project completed. Partner with an organization in the community. Have the speaker present to your club. Invite a Grants committee member to give a meeting. Better yet, have your member who is trained give the program.

More Potential Programs Invite a scholar to present to the club. Put the Foundation in front of the club each week with a Foundation moment focusing on project and programs. Anything else????? Rotary “You Tube” videos.

Resources District Website- specific tab for Grants RI Website- Learning modules for Future Visions (e- learning). District Foundation Team- includes both the giving and program sides. Club members who are astute on the Foundation.

Memo of Understanding What am I signing? 1. Terms of Qualification 2. Club Leadership Responsibilities for Qualification 3. Financial Management 4. Document Retention 5. Report on Use of Grant Funds 6. Method for Reporting and Resolving Misuse of Grant Fund

Good for one year Entire club responsible for use of grant funds Club must disclose any potential conflict of interest Club must cooperate with all district and TRF audits Club must certify 2 members Club must establish succession plan Rotary District 7620 Grants Committee Club Memorandum of Understanding

Authorization & Agreement Rotary District 7620 Grants Committee The club MOU is a legal document between the club and the district. By signing this agreement, the club president and president elect are authorizing it, which enters the club into a legal agreement with TRF to abide by all Rotary Foundation and Rotary International policies.
