A is for Alaska Alaska was the girl that Miles liked. She broke a lot of rules and she liked to pull pranks on people to get revenge.

B is for Boarding School Miles left his family to go to a boarding school called Culver Creek.

C is for Chip Chip was Miles’ best friend and also his roommate. He also helps Alaska plan a prank to get revenge.

D is for Duct Tape Duct tape is what Miles was tied up in before he got thrown in the lake.

E is for Eagle The Eagle ran Culver Creek. They called him the Eagle because he always caught someone breaking the rules.

F is for Fox While Takumi and Miles were pulling the prank on the Eagle, Takumi pretended he was a fox in the woods because he was wearing his favorite fox hat.

G is for Greif After Alaska’s funeral Miles, Chip, Takumi and Lara all felt grief.

H is for Hair gel After Miles was pushed into the lake Alaska, Chip, and Takumi plan a prank to put blue dye in all of the suspects hair gel.

I is for incredible After Alaska’s funeral all of her friends talked about how she was an incredible friend.

J is for Jake Jake was Alaska’s boyfriend who Miles hated because he really liked Alaska.

K is for Kevin Kevin was the boy who tied Miles up in duct tape and threw him in the pond.

L is for Lara Lara was the girl that Miles threw up on after he hit his head and got concussion. She is also his girlfriend and Russian.

M is for Miles Miles is the main character. He likes to memorize famous peoples last words.

N is for Notebook Miles wrote down all the memories he had with Alaska in his notebook so he would always remember them.

O is for Outstanding Miles thought that Alaska was an outstanding person and he really liked her.

P is Prank Miles, Alaska, Chip, and Takumi plan a prank to get revenge on kids that almost killed Miles.

Q is for Quiz When Miles was doing a quiz during class he started day dreaming and his teacher kicked him out of class.

R is for “Regulars” Chip named two groups of kids at Culver Creek. The regulars were like him and Miles who weren’t rich and snobby.

S is for Suffering After Alaska’s death Miles suffered from being sad.

T is for Takumi Takumi is also one of Miles best friends and he helped him pull off the prank.

U is for underwear When Miles got pushed into the lake he was in his underwear.

V is for Vomit After Miles got a concussion he accidentally puked on Lara but she still liked him after.

W is for Weekday Warriors The Weekday Warriors were the group of rich snobby kids. Chip also came up with the name for them.

X is for Explosion During the prank Takumi and Miles set off an explosion to distract the Eagle.

Y is for Yellow Alaska’s favorite color was yellow.

Z is for Zero Alaska had zero tolerance for anyone.
