Setting And Characters Setting Characters Something I noticed about the setting is that it is in four places, home, school,Howie’s house, and a restraunt. But she is mostly at school. The characters are Ramona, Beezus,Dad,Mom,and Mrs. Waley. I like Romona the best.

Ramona The character that interest me the most is Ramona because she acts snotty. She has black short hair. She also has blue eyes. She likes to ride the bus. Ramona is mean and fun at the same time. One reason I don’t like Ramona is because she is always cross. Ramona is nice but she can get a little cranky. Ramona doesn’t like school.

Author’s Purpose What was the problem? She wants her family to be happy. How was it solved? A man payed for there food when they went out to eat because they were nice. What did the character learn? Not to be cross. What did I learn? I learned not to be cross to my family.

Book Recommendation I would recomend this book to someone who likes Beverly Cleary books. If you haven’t heard of Beverly Cleary, read this now! Because he’s the best. Ramona is very funny. Beverly Cleary is a very fun author. I love Ramona Quimby. Beverly Cleary is the best [I mean the best] author ever. I think you should read this book. Remember its called Ramona Quimby Age 8.

Connections In this book I had 3 connections.#1. When Ramona ate tonuge. I’ve eaten tonuge before that’s a text to self connection. #2. I’ve gotten into trouble and had to cook dinner. #3 I’ve had a friend let me ride her bike just like Ramona.

Creating Images When Ramona ate tongue I could feel and taste it in my mouth. I could see Ramona ride the bike to the corner and back. I could hear Willa Jean laughing when they fell down. I could feel Picky Picky’s fur. I could smell the puke in the class room.
