Changing Lanes Moving from right-hand lane to left-hand lane turn your head to check traffic behind you and on your left (BLIND SPOT) Give the left turn signal See car you’re passing in review mirror then carefully move into the left lane. Moving from left-hand lane to right-hand lane turn your head to check traffic behind you and on your right (BLIND SPOT) Give the right turn signal then carefully move into the right lane. It is against the law to flash turn signals as a courtesy or "do pass" signal to other drivers.
