Its A Girl! - Born April 3, 1934, in London England to Montimer Herbert Goodall and Margaret Myfanwe Joseph. - Loved Dr. Doolittle Books and Tarzan Books -Thought that she would make a better “Jane” for Tarzan

- Left school at age 18 -Had dream of going to Africa - Finally left the U.K in the summer of 1960 to Africa. Jane’s dream was a very unorthodox one for women at the time.

Doctor Louis Leaky - Archaeologist and Paleontologist - Met Jane In Africa, and Invited her on a dig with him -Jane was his secretary, and he introduced her to chimpanzees
