Presentation elements include text, graphics, audio and video. Gathering the elements together is called assembling the elements of a presentation. Text may be entered at the keyboard or imported from a word processing package. Graphics may be imported from a clip art image library, or from a graphics package.

Audio may be added from a sound library or input using a microphone. Video images may be imported from a digital video camera and edited using a suitable application. Hyperlink these are links to the www, to another document or to a particular slide within the presentation.

Video editing applications packages allow the user to input sequences of video, known as clips and rearrange them into any order, not just the sequence in which they were originally filmed. This is called non-linear editing.

Help- As with many other GPPS, presentation packages provide the user with help when creating a presentation. A template is a ready-made document containing guides or placeholders which can accept objects such as text or graphics. Another name for a template is a layout. A wizard or assistant is a program which leads the user step by step through the creation of a document. This is particularly useful for first time users of a presentation package.

Delivering a presentation – Most presentations use a multimedia projector as an output device connected directly to a computer system. File Types -
