+ Alliance Marketing & Marketing Co-operations Marketing activities undertaken by more than one entity, jointly to promote and sell a concept, product or service which benefits all stakeholders. The objective being to tap the full potential of a market by bundling specific competences or resources. Other terms for this are, marketing partnerships, co-marketing and cross marketing. Example: Travel Packages (Flight & Hotel)

+ Product Bundling Offering several products for sale as one combined product, a ‘packaged deal’ or ‘product compilation’. This helps average costs, consumer demand and the value perception. Consumers appreciate the resulting simplification of the purchase decision. The products or services comprising the bundle can come from different producers or service providers.

+ Product Bundling Pure Bundling Occurs when a consumer can only purchase the entire bundle or nothing. Mixed Bundling Occurs when consumers are offered a choice between purchasing the entire bundle or one of the separate pieces.

+ Alliance Marketing & Product Bundling Examples Travel packages (Flight & hotel) Summerlicious & Winterlicous restaurant events Communications packages (Internet, tv, cell phone and home phone) Passport to Prana (Toronto Yoga Studios)
