Conflict in Iraq Presented by: Jaclyn, Alexis, and Sara

How it all began President Bush sent troops over to Iraq because he felt Saddam Hussein was funding the Al-Qaeda. President Bush had vowed that anyone that assisting the terrorists was the enemy. The US attacked Iraq due to the intelligence reports that they were manufacturing weapons of mass destruction. The UN inspectors attempted several times to inspect the hold areas and were refused entry. The US gave Saddam a deadline to comply with the inspection and when he did not we invaded and the war began.

What is the conflict The US conflict with Iraq has several areas: 1)Weapons of Mass Destruction 2)Establishing a Democracy removing- Saddam Hussein. 3)Stopping the growth of Al-Qaeda in Iraq.

What jobs soldiers perform Soldiers are in chare of many different jobs some are on the line others are working on the machines and many other jobs.

What is going on write now We are trying to get the people in Iraq to respect the government and not try to overthrow the government so they can be part of the government.
