Content Implementation In on-page SEO content is king. Fresh content is the gear that keeps the SEO engine running. Google has several algorithms just dedicated to fresh content and how to make new relevant content appear on SERPs. For those and many other reasons (ability to attack more Keywords, better more relevant result opportunities, etc) our SEO product revolves around the idea of identifying new keywords, creating content for those keywords, and optimizing on-page to capture high rankings. Once the content it is important to consider the other factors involved in content creation (placement, link building, meta information, etc. This holistic view of content is what allows our model landing pages to rank well and rank quickly.

Homepage Copy Our new homepage copy is made up 3 individual sections. 1.About the dealership. 2.Inventory/ Line Up. 3.Other services. These 3 sections have multiple interchangeable versions (to avoid duplicate content). They are also written with several dealership specific variables allowing us to target multiple Geos and other important keywords. The homepage copy also internally links the model landing pages giving them more authority (discussed in another lesson). There are two underlying goals to a dealerships homepage copy. 1.To inform and describe the dealership to new visitors. 2.To internally links and list Keywords we are targeting.

URL Architecture URL architecture is the building blocks for a websites internal navigation. Websites should follow a family tree style, meaning a page is a parent or child of another pages. Example if you were building a page for the 2013 Nissan Rogue you would want your path to that page to be 2013s ->Nissan->Rogue or example.com/2013-Nissan-Rogue. Note: Ideally you would want a page for each step in the process, however, for our purposes just including the subject in the URL is enough. All of our pages are build with this in mind and the words in the URL are a ranking factor in Google and Bings SERPs.

Model Landing Pages Everyone of our SEO packages include model specific landing pages. These are designed to go after [Make] [Model] [Geo] searches, attracting bottom of the funnel searchers with relevant results. The 2015 Landing pages (like the homepage copy) have fields for different dealership specific Keywords to help differentiate each page from other dealerships.
