Ministry Preparation years ago... In the summer of 1964 at the General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene, held in Portland, Oregon, General Superintendent G.B. Williamson presented the vision for the Nazarene Bible College.

The Vision Lives The General Assembly voted Dr. Williamson’s vision into reality. Leaders in our church expedited selection of a site and the first students were enrolled in the fall of 1967.

Mission with a Purpose... Nazarene Bible College exists to glorify Jesus Christ as Lord by preparing adults to evangelize, disciple, and minister to the world.

Our College......views truth through the Wesleyan-Holiness perspective and affirms the Bible as its cornerstone. We emphasize the doctrine of entire sanctification and living a holy, Christlike life.

NBC Serves the Church Founded and sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene, our college has a unique place among the institutions of higher learning in our denomination. Ministerial preparation is our priority. We are committed to academic excellence.

The Support of our Church Reduces the cost of education at NBC. Without the help of the Church, the cost of ministry preparation would increase by nearly 40%. Your financial help will be a continuing encouragement to God’s called ones.
