The Source of All Life The forgiveness of sins and the restoration of humanity’s friendship with God

The Source of All Life Gift from God that enables us to believe in God. b)Faith enables us to go beyond our doubts or concerns about life and to believe that God is always with us. c)Faith is more than believing in God; it is a way of life.

The Source of All Life The Church gives witness to God’s presence. (pg. 17) In Jesus, “the whole of God’s truth has been made manifest.” Jesus taught, loved and cared for all people, especially those in need. Jesus showed us how to live by the gift of faith. Jesus gathered followers (disciples) who, as a community worked together to live as Jesus did. Who are Jesus’ disciples in the world today? – We are, as members of the Catholic Church.

The Source of All Life Grace is a sharing in God’s life and friendship. Grace helps us to respond to God with love. It leads us to want to know God better. Read Who are God’s People? on page 16 Review #1-8 on page 19

The truth is handed down in Tradition (pg. 26) – “ There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.” (John 21:25) No written record, not even Scripture, can capture all that it means to live as a disciple of Jesus Scripture needs Tradition to shed light on its meaning
