The province I live in is > The city live in is > How many continents are there? 7. And which one do you live in? North America. What is your cultural heritage? I am Chinese and my family celebrates Chinese New Year and the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. For both of these holidays, it is traditional that we eat together as a family. What is the difference between national and international? National means one nation and international means two or nations How many provinces and territories are there in Canada? 10 provinces and 3 territories. Coquitlam

Who is the Prime Minister of Canada? Stephen Harper. Who is the President of the United States? Barak Obama. How many planets are our solar system comprised of? Name them. There are eight : Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune What is the difference between a fact and opinion? A fact is the truth, something that is typically used to inform us. An opinion is what someone thinks or what their point of view is, but it is not necessarily true. For example, if a man had a muscle spasm in his legs and accidentally jumped onto train tracks and got run over, someone might say, “Why would he commit suicide? What a selfish thing to do.” That would be an opinion because it was from someone’s point of view and was not true.

What are three current issues taking place around the world? a) Some people are very scared about the world ending in Others don’t believe it at all. One cause is that a long time ago, a person was writing a calendar on a stone, but only wrote up to December 21, hopefully, this is NOT true. Just remember: if Australia is still on Earth, it’s all good. b) Scientists have just gotten a step closer to cloning human organs. They are just modifying it so it will be safe for humans. c) More and more people are getting food allergies. Ten years ago, 1 in 200 people had a food allergy. Now, 1 in 100 people have a food allergy. The number has doubled and scientists don’t know what is causing this.

What would you do if you found $300 on the ground? Explain. First, I would see if anyone around was looking for it. If so, then I’d let them take it. But if not, I would donate it to charity. If you and an elderly person get onto a bus that had only one seat, what would you do? Explain. I would let the elderly person sit there because it is the ideal thing to do. Explain the difference between right and wrong. To be right means to do what is correct. When you do something right, you fell good about it. To be wrong is to make a mistake. When you do something wrong, you feel guilty and don’t want to make that error again.

What do you consider in a responsible person? A responsible person is someone who knows the difference between right and wrong by showing it through their actions. A responsible person takes the opportunity to correct themselves when making a mistake. What are three qualities you like about yourself? I like the fact that I am creative, logical and when having a desire to do something, I am determined to do it with pride and satisfaction. What are three qualities you dislike about yourself? I dislike my habit of reading when I am supposed to do my homework, I stay in bed after I’ve been awake for an hour and I loose things easily.

Name five customs or traditions that you and your family celebrate that we don’t see in Canada: a)On birthdays, we eat noodles because the long noodles represent a long life to live. b)We can’t get a haircut on birthdays c)We wear red on Chinese New Year because red represents life and blood. d)On Chinese New Year we eat dumplings, which represents money of the Ancient Chinese and Mandarin oranges which is a homophone for luck or fortune in Chinese e)We eat 8 dishes of food on Chinese New Year because 8 is a lucky number.
