 What is nanotech?  Nanotechnology :  Art and sience of manipulating atoms and moleculs to create new systems, materials and devices.  Nanotechnology is the engineering of functional systems at the molecular scale.

 Size matters  How big is nano? Nano = x’s smallr than the diameter of human eye  Examples of Nanoscale:  A cubic micron of water contains about 90 billions of atoms.  1 millimeter has 1000 micron  Micron is a thousand times larger than nano
