1st grade quests

Quest 1 First Graders talked about what it means to be a Jewish superhero.

A Jewish Superhero is a person who is kind, brave, and helpful. We created and became our own Jewish superheroes

Quest 2 We did mitzvot and delivered books to Families Forward. We want to use our tzedakah money to buy a crib for the families living there.

We visited Families Forward to see how we can help the people who live there.

Quest 3 First Graders created a prayer book with original pictures and prayers describing where they like to pray. We thanked God for our families, for nature, people, animals, for health, school, and for ourselves.

What we discovered on our quests: Jewish superheroes are cool because they help people and animals It is important to help people who don’t have as much as we do We can pray to God anywhere

Why our quests were important: We learned about what it means to be Jewish We learned about the heroes in the Bible and how we can be like them We looked up bible heroes and did projects about them
