The completed blue handout is due by the start of class tomorrow – 12/ Chapters 9-12 Vocab Test RESCHEDULED DUE TO SNOW/LATE START.

Learning Targets: Symbolic analysis of WHY this symbol is significant to the novel as a whole 1. I can clearly explain how this symbol develops a larger theme or universal truth. 2. I can make connections between my symbol and larger ideas that Golding addresses in the novel. 3. I can explain why those connections are significant and have been studied/debated over time. 4. I can clearly reiterate how my symbol connects to a larger theme within the novel.
