Wednesday 25th September Leave NSL for Gorssel Arrive at the hostel. Welcome drinks and orientation of the camp site, rules of the camp, setting up bedrooms Lunch (brought from home) Activities organised by camp team- Sport based Free time-Hut Building; drinks and snacks Dinner- self service: soup, pasta & salad, fruit dessert (children help set up and clean up) Evening sports programme-Rounders Camp fire Bed

Organisation of children Aim of the camp is to integrate the two locations and departments. Children are in rooms with friends from own class (rooms sleep between 4-8 children). Children are in teams (mixed NA/ID/locations) throughout camp. Most rooms are inside the house, some huts apart. Male staff outside, female staff inside.

What to bring: Camp list has a detailed breakdown of what to bring. Insect repellent and sun cream (if weather is good) is essential. Torch with working batteries is useful. Lunch for the first day. A suitcase/holdall that your child can carry! DVD for the bus journey (optional) Medicines if needed.

What not to bring! Too much- children have to be able to carry all their own luggage. Electronic games Mobile phones Money Camp knives/tools

Communication Second information letter will follow next week. Camp information form regarding health/dietary needs must be fully completed. It is essential we have details of your health insurance. Before the trip you will get the mobile number to call on camp if there is an emergency We will hopefully post updates on the website from camp, if not we will contact the class parent to let you know all is well- remember no news is good news!
