The Final is Coming, The Final is Coming. Run. The Final is coming

Yes, It is Here! Monday Morning 10:00 AM 10 Short Answer Questions 8 Impossible Problems page essay

Study Suggestion Look at the SUMMARY section at the end of each chapter. Eliminate the topics we did not cover in class. For those of you who have never been to class, look at the notes on the website. If you haven’t seen the website, ask someone for the address.

More Study Suggestions Review the webassigns. This can help. Don’t JUST study problems that you have seen.. There will be some new ones on the final. And some old ones as well. Some have been changed a bit.

Today – Sort of a Review Weekend – I will tally all scores. Clicker grade will be posted. Use WebAssign to complain. Monday – FINAL Friday – My target for posting the grades After this class I will be in an undisclosed location until next semester!

Let’s just skim the highlights of the chapters we have covered. Charge and Electric Fields (A VECTOR) Coulombs Law Nature of Charges Integration over distributed charges. Gauss’s Law Flux The Law Application to various geometries

More Electric Potential DEFINITION- SCALAR Calculation for discrete and distributed charges. Work to assemble charges and to release from some distribution Capacitors ad Dielectrics Adding Cs Effect of dielectric Circuits Energy

And more ….. Electric Current Micro-stiff I, Definition How do you get in a wire from J??? Power Resistivity, Resistance Ohms Law Adding Resistors DC Circuits Laws RC circuits (like RL circuits)

Magnetic Fields Definition Lorentz Force Field Lines Motion of Charges in a magnetic field Circular motion Helical Trip Forces on wires Torques on loops Magnetic moment –

And more still, but more recent Biot-Savart Law Ampere’s Law – Applications Solonoid, toroid.. Only examples Faraday’s Law Magnetic Flux Lentz’s Law (Murphy) Induced emf and electric fields Inductance LR circuits

SURPRISE No AC will be on the exam! Good Luck – See you Monday
