An equestrian is someone who rides horses. Its professionally called equestrianism. Competitive horse riders are the ones we call equestrian but really an "equestrian" is someone who uses horses for working and to compete.

Horse riding I do horse riding with my mum. I can jump about 90cm high on certain horses like my favourite horse at Haumoana zoo Casper. I've been riding horses since I was 4 but horse riding isn’t all that easy - well not all horses are perfect like Casper. Some buck when you want them to go and some don’t stop when you want them to stop. I still haven’t got a horse but I've always wanted one.
