GTSC Initial Meeting Review

GTSC Responsibilities Respond to GTAC requests –Imagery #1 priority –Data stewardship – understanding responsibilities, other agency business needs, data publishing cycles –GDT Agreement – access for all 44 agencies, first responders, local government, clearinghouse, address geocoding, address standardization through ITB process –Weather – received HS $; gathering agency requirements –Spend training $ efficiently – GTC charged with training program –PaMap Program –Review grant language CIOs, CTOs or Agency GIS Coordinators, and external organization representatives

GTSC Responsibilities Monthly meetings to provide guidance to BGT/State GIS Coordinator –Strategic direction and prioritization –Identification and review of deliverables –Goal and objective prioritization –Tactical planning –Implementation goals and schedules –Enterprise Licensing –Homeland Security –Clearinghouse Assign action items to GTC and external partners

Membership in Users Group –Meetings to remain mostly open –4 closed meetings/year –4 joint PAMAGIC meetings/year –4 open meetings/year Director charged agencies to become an active group or disband Group has been passive for several years Training, standards, enterprise architecture, addressing should be worked on by group

PAMAP Progress

Agency meetings held with DCED, DEP PENNDOT meeting scheduled and postponed twice Follow up meeting at DCED scheduled and postponed twice Initial letters to 9 primary agencies for funding Additional letters going out to 19 secondary agencies for funding now PAMAP Informational letter to go out to all other agencies, boards and commissions PEMA indicated no funding available

GDT Enterprise Agreement

Needed short term for address geocoding and routing until PENNDOT completes statewide road network in 2007 Close to procurement – T’s and C’s need minor adjustments $580K/year + ASAP markup = $592K/year Available to all agencies, local governments, COGs, first responders Goal of 10/1 – might make it?

Weather Project

Currently installing at PEMA 2 vendors: –Meteorlogix: GIS, alerting, forecasting –AWS Weatherbug: alerting, local sensors, next generation weather, GIS Real-Time Weather information, tie into 800 MHz radios and facility locations for alerting, capture historical information

Weather Project Weather workgroup gathering agency business requirements Sept 22 workgroup meeting to review requirements $1.5M SHSGP funding available to entire project Make available to all agencies that need it as well as county/UASI EMAs, RCTTF
