SEARCH FOR COMMON GROUND IS AN INTERNATIONAL NGO THAT WORKS TO TRANSFORM THE WAY THE WORLD DEALS WITH CONFLICT—AWAY FROM ADVERSARIAL APPROACHES, TOWARD COOPERATIVE SOLUTIONS. Our Goal

Transform the role of young people in conflicts so that they may have concrete alternatives to violence and can significantly contribute to building lasting peace. The Goal of the C&Y Unit

Operational Modules Educational projects – Formal and non-formal activities geared toward providing information in entertaining ways that allow young people to understand their rights, analyse differences, and positively transform their attitudes towards building cooperative relationships.

Operational Modules Voice projects – Media activities that create platforms for children and youth to participate in the local and national dialogues on issues that affect them.

Operational Modules Action projects – activities that allow children and youth to come together across dividing lines to take concrete actions in changing the communities in which they live.

Golden Kids Golden Kids, a consortium that includes children and youth’s radio and theatre programs in many parts of the world. Golden Kids was given the Children’s Lives, Children’s Voices Award by UNICEF in GK focuses on sensitizing young people and others on the risks and effects of armed conflict by interviewing young people and other community members.
