…knowing that you were ransomed…not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ - 1 Peter 1:16, 18-19
The Direction contains an Expectation this is based on Ownership

Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood - Acts 20:28
Responsibility to care for Based on Ownership
In Christ We are not owners But managers with a Remarkable responsibility

Time Talents and Gifts Relationships and Sexuality Work and Money Thought-life
Managers of What God owns for: God's glory Our ultimate joy
Pressure isn't on you To figure it all out
Pressure isn't on you To make it all work
Pressure isn't on you To find a life that matters
Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

Throne- Every tribe, every tongue, every nation… United with voices lifted high in worship of our One King
Restoration of what was lost
Creation= unity
Fall= disunity, distance, deceit
Redemption= payment/ownership
Restoration= unity (Christ's purpose)

How easily am I offended?
Am I harsh or gentle With people?
with patience We are all at different places In our faith-walk God has patience and love with us Shouldn't we give the same grace?
Do I demonstrate patience in understanding and giving grace?
bearing with one another in love It won't be easy But it will be worth it Love is the motivation Pleasing Jesus is the goal
Do I love enough To bear with people Who are harder to love?
Repay no one evil for evil, but give thought to do what is honorable in the sight of all. If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all - Romans 12:17-18
Good news! When you hate conflict And torn-up relationships You're in good company
Good news! When gossips upset you When division causes you pain You're in good company
Good news! And when you want to Make peace You have a God who backs you
Blessed are the peacemakers… - Jesus
IF you have placed your faith In Jesus You belong to him And are a manager of what He owns- including relationships
God desires Unity among his people Peace with all who will allow
And you are set free From keeping accounts Judging in God's place Causing conflict and being right
God's ownership Makes us responsible God's love directs us to Everyone's best interests: His glory, our joy
As a church: Unity is a core value - Around Jesus - Serving Jesus and one another - Carrying a cross
